Planning approval granted for development at 39 Napiershall Street
Proposals for a four-storey residential development on a City Property Glasgow (Investments) LLP site at the former Napiershall Street School have been granted approval by Glasgow City Council.
Kelvin Properties plans for the site of the 21,410 sq. ft. former 1890s school building include 49 apartments and a range of amenities for residents.
The exciting development between Great Western Road and Maryhill Road will retain the architectural features of the existing red sandstone building which will comprise a four-storey residential development of 24 converted flats, including four penthouse apartments. In addition, a new build L-shaped block will be formed within the remaining grounds to provide a further 25 apartments. The proposals include a range of amenities, including a rooftop residents’ garden, childrens play areas, raised growing beds, herb gardens and several intimate “secret gardens”.
